Storageflex launches 50TB High Density Hybrid RAID Array Toronto, Ontario, Canada June 17, 2008 - Storageflex™ Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of high performance, high availability storage products and a Canadian Federal Government Approved NMSO (National Master Standing Offer) Supplier, announced today that it has released general availability of its new 50TB High Density Hybrid RAID Array called the 3945N-50. “3945N-50 was developed to satisfy customer needs for high density cost effective storage requirements for exploding storage applications including archive, backup, security surveillance, video and graphic arts" said Paul Chan, Vice President, Storageflex Inc. “Our 3945N-50 is a cost effective solution for tiered storage using 15,000RPM Hot Swap SAS Disks and/or 7,200RPM Hot Swap SATA Disks with available RAID based Snapshots, Volume Copy and Remote Replication for Disaster Recovery Deployments.” Storageflex 3945N-50 is scalable to 50TB of Plug and Play NAS, iSCSI and/or Fibre Channel Shared Storage in an 8U Chassis. Windows, Linux/Unix and MAC environments for online file storage, emails, web, database and backup applications are now possible.
