Storageflex launches larger RLS LTO Tape Library

A Canadian manufacturer of high performance, high availability storage products and a Canadian Federal Government Approved NMSO (National Master Standing Offer) Supplier, announced today that it has increased the capacity and density of its RLS Tape Library Product Line with the launch of its RLS 8500 tape library to the global marketplace. Previously with up to 4 drives in 44 slots in a 5U form factor to total 132TB compressed capacity, the new RLS 8500 model will house up to 114 slots in a 10U form factor. This will increase our density to 342TB in 10U of space with support of up to 5 LTO Drives.
